The Original King James Bibles 1611

This is the original Bible printed in 1611. It is the first of a long line of King James Bibles.

Work on this English translation began in 1604 and was completed in 1611. Forty seven scholars were involved in translating The Old Testament, The New Testament and the Apocrypha into English. All of these scholars were members of the Church of England (CoE).
